Handwriting (Age Group 6 - 9 yrs)

Handwriting is a person's particular & individual style of writing with pen or pencil, which contrasts with "Hand" which is an impersonal and formalised writing style in several historical varieties.

• Specific shape of letters, e.g. their roundness or sharpness;

• Regular or irregular spacings between letters;

• The slope of the letters;

• The rhythmic repetition of the elements or arrhythmia;

• The pressure to the paper;

• The average size of letters

Brain Booster has recently launched a Handwriting programme. A good handwriting is a pleasure both to the student and to the examiner. Handwriting is something which should be inculcated from the beginning.

Brain Booster’s handwriting programme pays attention, in a way that no other program we know does. Good Handwriting requires the ability regularly to distinguish certain shapes and to translate those distinct mental images into consistant physical motion in one’s hand. In keeping with its developmental concerns, Brain Booster offers extremely basic exercises in figure-ground discrimination and top- to- bottom, left-to-right sequencing.
